Thank you for sharing! Your videos have helped so much with our wedding planning ♥️ Can you please do a Top 10 for the Excellence Resorts? Those are the ones we are leaning towards, and a review by you may seal the deal!

Hi Vanessa, thanks for your videos. They are great, exciting, and informative. We went to Secrets the Vine last year and are set to go to Secrets Vallarta Bay in two days. We were glad to see that SVB ranked so high, and we look forward to staying there soon!

  4. Tara G on November 9, 2022 at 10:17 am

Love Akumal! Was there the first week it opened and a year later. It is probably my favourite all inclusive resort. Excited to return there soon.

Hi Vanessa. I had booked Secret St Martin two times as part of my UVC membership. Both times I had to cancel with full refund due to pandemic reasons. Is more to the reason why I canceled twice? Karma? I don’t know. As of now I am on the fence about re booking a third time. Would you happen to have any feedback on Secrets St Martin. I have been to Secrets Maroma Beach. Fabulous! I am considering Secrets Akumal Rivera Maya.
    Thank You
    Terry
PS Love your videos! Very informative and fun to watch. Feels like we’re there already. Thanks again

I have been wanting to try Secrets but a couple of years ago my travel agent told me they were mostly for couples. Is that true? I do see from the video some of them do cater to couples.

  8. Alley Jay on November 9, 2022 at 10:26 am

Beautiful video thank you. I would love ❤️ for you to reviews on swim-up suites that receive more sun. I have lupus and require warmth. Plus I believe most people would like to learn more before purchasing swim ups.

  9. Stacey Robertson on November 9, 2022 at 10:26 am

I would love to see a Dreams Top 10 as well!

  10. russ4moose on November 9, 2022 at 10:28 am

It would be awesome if you would rank all the Secrets. I liked Playa Mujeres a lot, but I saw many pros and cons to it.

  11. Kari L on November 9, 2022 at 10:28 am

Please do an All Inclusive video about more nature centered (not beach) resorts w prices💚💙💜

  12. Natalie newman on November 9, 2022 at 10:28 am

Do you have a good video on the best beaches for people who don’t want to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve chairs? My pet peeve.

  13. jorge celaya on November 9, 2022 at 10:33 am

Vanessa, great video, could you list them? from 1 to 10 thanks do you have a video for dreams?

  14. Onyeka1 on November 9, 2022 at 10:34 am

Ever since you talked about the Moxché at the end I have been obsessed with the hotel. How soon will you be able to make a video about that location?

  15. LBoo on November 9, 2022 at 10:34 am

Hello! I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now. Thank you so much for all of your excellent information! I need your advice. My kids told me to pick an all inclusive for my 50th in about a year and a half. We would be in the moderate financial zone and would have many active young adults, 12 year old and active adults that mostly have never been to an all inclusive. I would love a resort that has private areas, flowers, foliage, beautiful, secluded pathways and beach areas. Of course the food and options are important. I would love the kids to be happy with the pool and activities, also nearby excursions. I have been wanting to do an all inclusive for years and your info is great but so much of it. This video left me thinking about the #2 choice but it is adults only. I would love the Caribbean or an island. Mexico is also fairly close to home on the west coast. Any advice, comments, suggestions? Thank you!!!

Love the Secrets Resorts. I agree that Akumal is a real gem, we loved our stay.

  18. maricar on November 9, 2022 at 10:35 am

Hi Vanessa! Just want to ask you if you’ve been to any RIU resorts in Cancun. Would like to ask your opinion about Riu Palace Peninsula. Thanks!

  19. Nathan Binder on November 9, 2022 at 10:36 am

We just got back from Secrets Cap Cana and it was incredible! We were expecting the food to be subpar, but it was actually head and shoulders above Excellence Playa Mujeres where we went last year. The beach is every bit as amazing as you said! The only thing I’d disagree with besides the food quality is the people who go. We experienced a lot of groups while we were there – it could’ve been a fluke, but it was annoying to have loud music playing even if we were at the beach at times. The resort itself was fantastic though!!

  20. DAVE GRIFFITH on November 9, 2022 at 10:37 am

I’ve been to Secrets Cabos, Akumal and Maroma Beach i got Maroma Beach #1 their entertainment team was the best of the brand and they introduced us to 3 great drinks the others didn’t not and i had my most fun at Maroma Beach

💕Romans 10:9, NIV: "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.💖💖💖

Thank you for this Secrets breakdown! I heard about your video from a UVC members group as people were raving how thorough it was. I was wondering I’d you done other resorts brands with Apple Resorts, like Dreams, Now, etc.? If not, then perhaps a possible idea for the future 🙂 I am totally going to subscribe as you have great content.

  23. Dawn on November 9, 2022 at 10:39 am

Been watching ALL of your videos! I would love to see a ranking of all the excellence brand resorts!

  24. Kyle Manship on November 9, 2022 at 10:40 am

Thank you for these great videos!

  25. Luckylefty on November 9, 2022 at 10:41 am

Great video. Was surprised Secrets Aura Cozumel didn’t make the cut. Been to 5 of the top 5, Cozumel was on of my favorites. Especially the water slide outside the rooms that lead to the pool bar.

  26. azia on November 9, 2022 at 10:41 am

We went to Cap Cana last year and though the resort is moderately sized, the beach size is amazing. The preferred option definitely pays off here but there was no shortage of open chairs (May 2021). We are looking to try the Jamaica options this year to switch things up:

  27. NB on November 9, 2022 at 10:42 am

I really enjoy your videos. It’s so refreshing to watch a travel video that is straightforward, concise, and touches on all the important points that travelers are looking for. Nice job! I subscribed!

I’d love to see a review /pro/con for the Royalton brand.

  29. ysemak on November 9, 2022 at 10:44 am

Great top 10! Was pleased to see Acumal as 1st, and was anxiously waiting if St. Martin would make it to the 10:) that was a waste of money- the most expensive(even with 60% off deal), and the worst kept property, just ok food, and NO service, NONE! Do not go there. Though nature is great there. That’s the location where it’s better to book alacarte hotel or RB&B

  30. Fayette on November 9, 2022 at 10:45 am

Do you know if they are still opening up the Dreams resort in Puerto Rico?

  31. Loren Riggs on November 9, 2022 at 10:48 am

I’ll be traveling to Secrets Royal Beach in May 2022. Im so excited but I’ve heard a few resorts in punta cana don’t have swimable beaches. Is that the case with SRB?

  32. Kelly Hill on November 9, 2022 at 10:49 am

Vanessa, This was right on point! I have been to Secrets Akumal, my personal #1 and Maroma, my #2, so you got it right. I enjoyed Secrets Cap Cana (Best beach) I was there in July 2021, and as you said, it was the food that was "MEH". I agree Wild Orchid and Montego Bay should be in the running, but at # 10. Also, note to viewers, uh, Wild Orchid/Mo Bay has A LOT of jellyfish in the water (Eww, been there 2 times) YOU NAILED IT. I cannot comment on the others, but DO plan on visiting Costa Rica in 2023 cause I am booked up for 2022 and I also plan on visiting Los Cabos in 2023 as well. Note, Secrets Moxche’ is now opening February 11th 2022. We were just notified that we had to relocate as we were visiting in the first week of February, so we chose Maroma and Akumal for 11 days. Thanks for the video.

  33. Marie Leckrone on November 9, 2022 at 10:49 am

    Secrets Rivera Akumal was great

  34. lynn kadilis on November 9, 2022 at 10:50 am

Maroma is our favorite. Way better than Sandals too and we were in St Lucia Sandals. Maroma- service is by far the best, staff is fabulous and always helpful, breakfast buffet is south BOMB and the different fun themed dinners are great too. Won’t go anywhere but there, especially since they know us after five times visiting!!

  35. laidbackgl on November 9, 2022 at 10:51 am

    Great video!

I was shocked to see Akumal over maroma Beach. I would love to see an excellence/finest/beloved top 10!

  42. Laura Buchanan on November 9, 2022 at 11:03 am

Thank you. Beautiful Resort. I love with different locations around the world. They’re very beautiful. I don’t think Costa Rica has the nicest beaches in general. It’s more famous for its rainforest and animals.

  43. Erica Greene on November 9, 2022 at 11:04 am

Thank you Vanessa for this video! We’re heading to Secret’s Cap Cana in September for my birthday and your video gave me assurance I made a good choice. Newly subscribed! Keep up the amazing videos and happy travels 💕

How does secrets do with gluten allergies

  46. Claudacious on November 9, 2022 at 11:06 am

Akumal has been the nicest experience hands down. I liked Maroma second.

  47. Sarah Solano on November 9, 2022 at 11:07 am

I would love to see a list of resorts that are good at accommodating food allergies or dietary restrictions

  48. Maria Alexander on November 9, 2022 at 11:08 am

Vanessa I really like that you X out the Resorts where the beaches are not nice. That is also good idea of an X for the Resorts with no Television. You are doing an excellent service.

  49. E Moore on November 9, 2022 at 11:08 am

Just went the to Secrets: The Vine in February, so I have some updates. The only food available after midnight was from room service and most of the buffet food was just passable. The sit down restaurants were a 7-8/10, and the coffee everywhere was divine. Cocktails were good, but not very strong unless you asked for double shots. Good thing the pools were nice, because the beach was tiny and the water was too rough to swim.

Vanessa!…Is it adviceable for singles to go to any of the Secrets Resorts
