Cuirous to see how in the US most people seem to like a TV on a crazy height (mostly above a fireplace) whereas in other places such as Europe it is crazy low. Overall very nice and zen place.

How do you change a light bulb in high fixtures?
Somehow I feel that having the TV that high is just not a good idea…. Our eyes want to naturally watch TV at eye level ☹️ also marble countertops in the kitchen….not practical…we can’t just pick materials coz they look good… marble is a very porous stone and definitely high maintenance !!

Sooo gorgeous! And I know trend’s change ,but I think this could be close to timeless,for a decade or so.if the main investment pieces are neutral,so it it so easy to switch out small decor items.
2 things 1 I love it and 2 I watch you on netflix and it has inspired me to be a designer when I and older I am only 10 but I love your work and your kids are beautiful. I am so happy for you and your whole family for making your dream house. Ans making you own business.

Dear Shea, You often talk about your couch being of the material krypton. I have tried to find the synoniem in Dutch, but even in English, the word is not clear to me. Could you explain what this fabric contains exactly and why it is so durable? Even A-list designers in The Netherlands don’t know it when I mention it in their stores. Am looking for the correct translation or at least the components of that fabric. Thanks in advance.
I absolutely love your home. All of the neutral tones and mixture of textures is beautiful.
I totally agree with the tv being over the fire place. You should only have one main focal point in a room, and the height doesn’t bother me either because our tv tilts down, so there’s no neck strain. I can see my tv from the kitchen as well.

The dead space that comes with such high ceiling makes the room look empty. Black and whitish neutrals do not uplift, but bore instead. The "designery" corner does not work either. The sculpture and the pedestal block the view of the two hanging pictures. Just another mistake in the whole series of such mistakes. Nothing cozy about this design.

Thank you for all your videos and tips! We just painted our walls with swiss coffee at 75% and they look beautiful! Now I’m moving on to our repainting our kitchen cabinets. Are the cabinets flanking your fireplace in your great room painted? And if so, what color? Please and thank you!!

What’s The lovely gray ottoman called?
On S2-E6 Shea’s husband is told he has to paint and he suggests the painters could do it. I never see him do anything.
So, why is he even around ?
Too vanilla..a splash of color would go a long way…just my opinion..but who am I? Nobody😂

Colors flow and blend peacefully, the beauty of the home’s architecture is the show stopper. A peaceful calm Beauty! I just want to sit down in the middle of your room quietly for a few minutes and be an observer , absorb the essence of the room. Stand and walk slowly around this room not to miss anything architectural. I would take another walk around this room, slowly soak up your style and design of furniture, colors, shapes, layering of rugs, textures and then blissfully do it all over again! Thank you for sharing. I hope to one day have a home again, a two bedroom cottage. Design and style it with an essence of warmth, simplistic Beauty! I would share it with my granddaughter and pass it on to her , fill her full of love and memories from our cottage , a legacy of love, simplistic Beauty and warmth. Beginning with her and I and our sweet cottage.
