I just turned 50 a couple months ago. Smoker. Full dentures (so when not wearing them, well thats a drastic change that I hate but have to endure.)
I Love makeup. Hate the heaviness feeling of layers & layers that I’ve watched many, many, others do & tried myself; of course, trying to have less (well show less) wrinkles. I was researching, again, on the internet & found you. Thinking ‘ok, (sigh) Let’s watch yet another video. See if she does anything different that I can try. BOOM right off the bat, yours is different.
SO now I’ve stopped this video around 11 minutes. You’ve not even completed the eyes yet. I just really want to say… I Absolutely LOVE, so far, how you talk us through each step, the dos & don’ts, & SHOW a BIG difference between the 2 sides. Have done in just a few short steps where others show in 20 steps to beautiful eyes. (20 is exaggerated but still)
Again, I Love makeup. Not a constant wearer like I use to be earlier on in years. Or even daily but more & more often I’ve been wanting to again. Boy oh boy, age certainly makes a difference.

You’re beautiful. Lovely features. BUT your foundation looks TOO heavy, dry and the wrong color for you. You don’t even need foundation, especially before doing your eye make up. But you would look even younger with a lighter more hydrating look on your face. And match your neck color too. Thank you for the eye color tutorial. Very informative. 🙂

sensitive skin shows results of " fixing" or maintaining it with products through the years.
my issue is -if you buy stuff for acne, for example, it actually Damages your skin causing More acne causing me to purchase more products that make it worse…

This whole video was perfection. As I’ve aged, I’ve watched contour and blush placement more and try to sweep up shadow, but there were new techniques here especially the lips! I can’t wait to try it all. ❤
I think a little smudged eyeliner on the bottom looks much more flattering, especially on someone with a long face….no matter the age. Tutorials like this always exaggerate any mistakes as much as possible to make their point.
