Fall Fashion Secrets You NEED To Know | 2022 Fall Fashion Trends
A new season is a great time to take a good look at your closet and decide what you need to do to set yourself up for a stylish season. The only problem is that everyone seems to be tightening the purse springs (and for very good reason) so today I wanted to share some of my favourite fashion style tips to help you make the most of Fall fashion and to really get a good handle on the new season before it officially arrives. Sometimes all it takes is to look at your fashion choices a little differently to give your style a little refresh. Oh and before I forgot I have finally remembered to show you the trench coat I ended up buying. I know I’ve talked about it a bit here but keep forgetting to show so sorry. But I really hope today’s video helps you to get excited about Fall and help you gear up for your most stylish season yet. I’d also love to hear your tips and tricks to updating your look without breaking the bank? It may require a little extra effort but when most of us are feeling the pinch financially it makes sense to get smart about how and what we shop so we can still look and feel great but do it on a budget. Two things I totally believe are possible. Anyway, thanks so much for watching and I will see you again real soon.

Great video, Leoni, as usual. Always excited to see your videos. You put them very well together🙌🙌🙌 The fall is not so much different season, for SF. Actually sometimes i wish that would be some middle. I have beautiful long sleeve blouses and dresses that i practically cant wear. Or its too hot, or then becomes too cold😳🤪😔 I dont really need much, for this upcoming season.well at least i feel that right now. I still have lots of things that i bought last year, and due to my C. crazy sickness , i didnt go nowhere , all fall. I agree accessories so much important, to change the outfits, so as reimagining . I love that and i exercise that in my wardrobe. Now swapping. We do have , here in US, Poshmark, where a lot of that happening. I myself did that once and was very happy, with my choice . But mainly , any time i want something new, i go to my closet and look what i can quickly get rid off ( to sell) 😜 Chanel costume jewelry, is very good for that. Its such a quick sale always.. 😜Well One thing is on my list mainly well 2 things is Loewe obi belt and Longer navy blue blazer. Have a blessed day🙏🙌

Thank you Leoni another great video. I have a Trench as well and I love it. I think it’s very versatile.

Last year I bought a brand new trench coat at the thrift shop for $12. I changed the buttons to make it even better. It’s a great piece and completely wearable.

Thrift stores where I live don’t have anything of quality, just some worn out teen polyester tops. The employees work there only because they get to pick out the best quality items for their online reselling businesses, before they hit the sales floor.

My mom recently asked me to go with her to our local Goodwill. I went reluctantly but I’m glad I did I found a large gold watch in a cuff style! Sure, it’s some cheap brand but it’s totally my style bold and faux leather the best part was all it needed was a new battery. I got the new battery for ten dollars, which is less than what the watch cost at $14. So, happy I decided to go.

Earlier in in the blog, Leonie, when you showed the orange headband…those Fendi Logo jeans…I got them at the oppie for $3 (new)! Online they’re $999!!!
Trouble is, I’d feel like a wanker if I wore them. 😁

Last year I went to Banana Republic, at the mall. The store has men’s on one side and ladies’ on the other. I didn’t find anything on the ladies’ side (I’m a woman) but on the men’s side I got a cashmere pullover, a cashmere hoodie, and a jacket that are so cute and were marked WAY down. All of those things were basics; I wore the heck out of them and plan to wear them again this year! So check the men’s section!

Any advice for sanitizing clothes before bringing them in your home ? I don’t thrift because I’m afraid of bed bugs and other human cooties . I work in healthcare so I know what ppl have and bringing their worm things in your home could be a disaster . Do you take them to the laundry mat before bringing them in?

  24. Pam B on October 17, 2022 at 8:41 pm

I have downloaded tik tok. But I never really use it. I guess I will have to try. I have never sold my clothes. I have too many other females in my family that I give my clothes to. I used to sell things on ebay. But you have to have some kind of sales tag or something where I live. And I just haven’t gotten around to looking into it. I would love to open a child’s consignment store. I have six grandkids that live close to me. And I know how much it costs to keep them all in clothes. We took all of the ones going to school and bought them clothes. It wasn’t cheap. And shoes. Now my oldest granddaughter’s can just shop my closet. And they do when they come over. And their older sister lives in another state. I have a tote of clothes for her too. And my youngest daughter lives in the same state. When she comes I have dresses I want her to look at. I have a closet full of dresses that I never wear. Some I want to keep, but there are more I don’t wear.

I took some of husbands button down shirts and started to wear them with jeans and tie them at the waist. I’m enjoying the oversized button down shirts these days but haven’t bought any.. I just wear the hubbies so saved a ton there..lol

Leonie, you look fabulous in that blue pullover. Loved your tips. The clothing swipe might work if I had friends my size bit that’s the only suggestion you made that might not work. Keep those videos coming.

💟 It’s a pleasure for me not to constantly spend on new additions to my wardrobe as prior years….especially impulsive… wants NOT needs! I’ve been shopping in my own closet & loving it! Your trench coat looks great on you….it’s an amazing & universal addition! Thanks Leonie & yes to thrifting, consignment, etc.
    💟💜💟

I love this video and appreciate your sensitivity to people that may be struggling in these times. It’s hard to get excited about fashion when there’s bills to pay. Thanks for the inspo.

Yes to having a plan, inspiration boards and shopping your closet. I’ve never had much luck with thrifting, outlets or selling my clothes. Too overwhelming and time consuming.
