Would u ever do a makeup tutorial with Mary Kay?

  2. NavyBrat71 on October 31, 2022 at 3:19 am

In my honest opinion I believe that every woman should go for the style they like for themselves. Following trends doesn’t make you who you are it makes you what others want you to be. Trends are just a thing to sucker people into buying more stuff that you don’t need. My point is if you like your makeup, you like your hair, you like your clothes that’s all that matters. It doesn’t matter what others think it matters of what you think and how you feel about yourself.

  3. Insane and Vain on October 31, 2022 at 3:20 am

I hear you about the illuminating primers!

  4. Sebum Post Mortem on October 31, 2022 at 3:24 am

A 48 yo MUA and ex ballet dancer here. I’ m META sick and tired🙄 *TRENDS ARE OUT OF TREND* It’ s 2022. Absolutely everything has been created and has made a come back in the fashion wheel at least once. Can we just go for whatever makes us feel good whenever we are in the mood for? The only physical -trend- aesthetic I can accept is a beautiful hair, skin and overall look as a result and reflection of HEALTH. 🧛🏻‍♀️🖤

  5. 160p2GHz on October 31, 2022 at 3:24 am

Bro how do you even get the ELF putty blush out the container. I hate that shit. (I love most of their stuff but this and their mascara suck imo)

  6. Nikki on October 31, 2022 at 3:24 am

I absolutely hate the bleached eyebrows. As someone with sparse uneven brows I would die for beautiful full dark fluffy brows.

Also not a fan of the clean girl thing. It looks stunning but it just makes me jelly bc I have acne that I am so self conscious of and I would love to wear barely anything and be stunning but it’s not reality lol

  7. Lauren Nichole on October 31, 2022 at 3:24 am

Am I the only one who thinks the “fingers in the foundation jar are dirty” thing is an interesting thought considering we all grew up, and many still do, using concealers with wands that we always wipe on our face and stick back into the tube? Initially I thought fingers in the jar was gross too but really thinking it through I feel like it’s no different. Or even the thousands of us that like NEVER wash our face makeup tools.

  8. Mhairi Wallace on October 31, 2022 at 3:25 am

The bleached brows is super easy if your hair is dyed darker than it naturally is and you e not had your brows tinted in a few weeks 😂😂 a rock I’m currently rocking till I see my beauty therapist (it’s not intentional) 😂😂

  9. Shar Roon on October 31, 2022 at 3:26 am

Caudalie grape water mist is so nice

  10. jigglybits on October 31, 2022 at 3:26 am

im sick of brow lamination 😖 some people do it well and its tame and nice but other peoples look absolutely insane lol

  11. GloomyHoolaKat on October 31, 2022 at 3:26 am

Hmm I wonder how the ice roller would work on a frontal headache? I sometimes use an ice pack or cold cloth… might work.

  12. Daniela Kousal on October 31, 2022 at 3:29 am

Stop doing this over highlighted dot on the tip of the nose. On the other side there are now those filter, where the noses are totally brown. It looks like you dipped your nose in something you shouldn’t have🤣

  13. NavyBrat71 on October 31, 2022 at 3:30 am

A naked mole rat alien 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely love you’re content.

  14. Nicole Saldarriaga on October 31, 2022 at 3:31 am

I hate to say this, because I’m not trying to be inflammatory or anything, but as a Latina, the whole “clean girl” trend really bothers me lately. That look (especially including the yellow gold jewelry) has been rocked by Black and Brown ladies for decades at this point, and it used to be called “ghetto” (will never forget Carrie in Sex and the City referring to gold jewelry as “ghetto gold” in casual conversation 🙄)….but now the trend is blowing up and is being attributed to people like Hailey Bieber? Again, not trying to be inflammatory here but….ugh.

  15. Kelsey Uuskallio on October 31, 2022 at 3:32 am

I hate any beauty product in a jar. Gross. Terrible for travel. Hate dropping the lid. Hate having to open an un-sterile lid with clean hands and then apply the product to my face. Hate exposing the product to air. Down with jars!

  16. shiba on October 31, 2022 at 3:35 am

The bleached eyebrows! Couldn’t agree more! Especially as a hairstylist!!

  17. 160p2GHz on October 31, 2022 at 3:35 am

Clean girl is basically my everyday look but with my hair down and wavy. To me it looks close to what I call the surfer girl aesthetic. I just like that it works well for natural blondes (I do wear mascara with it lol) and that it’s fairly low maintenance. I have sort of average size white girl lips too but I still think it looks nice (I think my brows are only a little fuller than yours but I fluff em up with clear gel). It’s the simplicity of it I love– I mean if i’m being honest it’s probably just the concert of 1) I suck at eyeshadow and 2) have always wanted to be a surfer.

  18. Tracy D on October 31, 2022 at 3:38 am

I disagree in a way with the Olaplex bun. I personally put it on clean hair and then the next day wash it out. Keeps the frizz at bay. I don’t know what or how tik tok girls to anything. It sound like they throw shite in the air to see what sticks.

  19. Jess Longarini on October 31, 2022 at 3:39 am

Glow from without 🤣🤣 You really had me with this comment. That’s what happens to me when I try to smear glitter all over my face as a “primer” hahaha

  20. Sarah Palmer on October 31, 2022 at 3:40 am

Yes! Just enhance your natural beauty:). Whatever your eyebrows are naturally shaped like, whatever your face shape naturally is, whatever skin type you have, whether or not you like to wear makeup naturally etc, stay true to who you were created to be!!! And, honestly, at some point, your look will be in style! 😂

  21. Liz McLean on October 31, 2022 at 3:40 am

In a way I kind of like the idea of foundation jars because it’s easier to recycle!

  22. Yesica Lizbeth on October 31, 2022 at 3:41 am

I love the “clean girl aesthetic” I don’t love the name or what it implies, but for someone who can’t do eyeliner or throw on a lash, skincare and simple clean makeup are my only options (also very dry skin). Been doing this all through out high school and adulthood with minimal products because they all seemed to have been catered to full glam babes, so I’m very happy that there’s more products on the market for the gals who can’t or choose not do to full glam.

  23. Vladimir Bernal on October 31, 2022 at 3:41 am

Yes! I always felt there was a snooty connotation behind the word clean in “clean girl makeup”. I’m all for a minimalist look. But the whole phrase does rub me in some weird way.

  24. Katsfolly on October 31, 2022 at 3:42 am

Hello from MN, I have to say, you are so beautiful! I just don’t get illuminating primer, once you put powder on, I don’t see the illumination. I have normal skin, and when I used the Hollywood Flawless Filter as a primer, my foundation didn’t wear well.

  25. Briana on October 31, 2022 at 3:42 am

Ok but Mia goth looks so good with bleached eyebrows

  26. jilly on October 31, 2022 at 3:43 am

Too, too much of everything. Too much product, too many products, too big, too dark, too shiny, too pumped up. And enormously big fat assess and boobs and clown lips!!! Good grief! That’s not beauty. It’s a psychological problem!…Look healthy and happy and forget about all the fake stuff. It’s not real. Have a bit of fun with makeup and work on yourself on the inside. Try to be a kind and good person and spend your hard earned money on doing something useful.

  27. Tracy D on October 31, 2022 at 3:44 am

How about Japanese fetish or trend towards African American culture.

  28. KismetKat11 on October 31, 2022 at 3:44 am

I completely agree about fingers in jars. Gunk also gets under my nails, I really dislike it. I also dislike doe foot wands in eye products like Urban Decay eyeshadow primer. It used to be in a squeeze tube which was so much more hygienic AND you could get all the product out. Now it gets all gunky and dried out from the air introduced by the wand. I switched products.

  29. Gloria Mitchell on October 31, 2022 at 3:46 am

    Bravo 🎉

  30. bailey2995 on October 31, 2022 at 3:47 am

where is your top from?? love it!

  31. peg wilson on October 31, 2022 at 3:48 am

I love the clean girl look and I never wear a bun. Never had more compliments. Full make up for certain occasions but a smokey eye in day to day life, frankly, I find looks ridiculous, especially at the grocery store.

  32. Kim Boyer on October 31, 2022 at 3:49 am

Re mists, just realized I’ve been using Yonka Paris Lotion PS Invigorating Mist for 20 years. This is Yonka’s dry skin toner, and the brand makes one for normal to oily skin as well. It’s probably not essential, but it’s my fav part of my routine. The longest I’ve gone without it is about 1 month, and I noticed a difference. It’s prob kinda old school but I love it.

  33. Rachel on October 31, 2022 at 3:49 am

I don’t understand people who use cream products, and then ‘set’ the product with a powder. What’s the point of using a cream blush, and then setting it with a powder.. blush? Just wear the powder in the colour you want?!

  34. Amy Akin on October 31, 2022 at 3:52 am

How do you curl your hair? I know you have shown some heat less ways but what do you use to achieve this look? It looks just gorgeous on you!

  35. Melio on October 31, 2022 at 3:54 am

I totally agree with the clean girl thing. I love the way it looks, and in fact that’s normally the makeup look I go for (I was doing minimal makeup before it was even a trend), but why did they have to call it "clean girl"? It really does feel like it has a shady meaning behind it. Especially when some girls who wear more glam makeup get shade for being "fake" and wearing "too much makeup" (which is stupid, because with filters even the clean girl’s are technically fake, if you’re one of those people who say that crap). Idk who came up with the name for it, but they could’ve done better.

  36. T T on October 31, 2022 at 3:55 am

I do my olaplex bun with a olaplex nr 6 cus its a leave in

  37. KitaKat on October 31, 2022 at 3:55 am

Ok I’m gonna have to stand for the veterans and military girls. The clean girl aesthetic is how we do our makeup due to regulations we either have to currently adhere to or were in so long that we’re just used to. That slick back bun is just something I can’t get past bc now I can’t stand my hair down in my face.

  38. qveenissac on October 31, 2022 at 3:58 am

You hair looks so fluffy and fresh in this vid Abbey! Not sure if it’s a fresh wash or the color but the hair is on point today. Maybe I’m projecting bc even dry shampoo can’t help me from needing a wash rn lol

  39. Anna Utrata on October 31, 2022 at 3:58 am

I’m personally sick of the “clean” basic white girl trend 😬😬😬

  40. Lyndsey P on October 31, 2022 at 4:00 am

Not a fan of the wet lip look = not kissable. Better for photos but not real life. Looks like it would smear, transfer, or be sticky…! #unpopularopinion

  41. Kathy Costello on October 31, 2022 at 4:00 am

When I first heard the concept of "clean girl" it hit wrong. It smells of slut shaming. Dirty girl here and then Glam.

  42. HeHasRisen on October 31, 2022 at 4:02 am

I agree with u 100% on the don’t’s Abbey. And you’re fun to watch too-shining from without 😬😂😂😂😂

  43. April Alfaro on October 31, 2022 at 4:07 am

I hate the "clean" girl thing. 1 the name is dumb and they just mean minimalist/natural not necessarily "clean". 2 it’s just copying what latine/black/brown girls have been doing for the longest but was always looked down on. It’s just another example of things that aren’t cool or pretty until main stream catches on 🙃

  44. TJ on October 31, 2022 at 4:08 am

I wonder if I am the only one, but I hate how EVERYONE uses those metal clips with some flat thing under it (what is that anyway, cardboard?) when applying makeup/foundation. It looks like when old ladies rolled their hair with curlers years ago. Not flattering at all. But Does nobody ever use anything else to hold their hair back? A scarf? Different clips? scrunchies? hair in a ponytail? I guess it bothers me because I never see anything else.. ha ha

  45. Lucy Melton on October 31, 2022 at 4:08 am

You had me at naked mole rat alien 😂😂😂

  46. SylvieSuccubus on October 31, 2022 at 4:09 am

Combining your first two hated trends, I exclusively use self tanner to draw on pencil-thin eyebrows after shaving them, because GothBrows are Eternal and I don’t like waking up looking like an alien lol
Makes it easier to get them the same day to day since the line will show under foundation and I can just trace over it too
    But it’s definitely a Choice.

  47. Sebum Post Mortem on October 31, 2022 at 4:09 am

Olaplex bun? **Laughs in flamenco female dancers**

  48. French Fry on October 31, 2022 at 4:09 am

My holy grail expensive French foundation comes in a jar. I totally agree with you. I would prefer packaging that prevents contamination.

  49. Jill Marie Weingarten on October 31, 2022 at 4:11 am

How eloquent of you to quantify your opinions before giving them. It’s the day and age in which we live. I appreciate your opinions.

  50. Neffertti Solis-Bradley on October 31, 2022 at 4:15 am

I tried to do a middle part on my hair and was not able to rock it…so not a fan but it works for some people. I will keep my side part..always!😉
