Out of the Non- functional testing, the one I like the most is the Infrastructure Testing. Security testing and Performance testing are given, and we know that they need to be tested and there are tools already available to help doing so. However, Infrastructure testing are part of the final products that feed into functional testing. The problem is that with the use of cloud development, the use of micro services (ms) has expanded dramatically and sometimes the inefficiencies from one to the other are not noticeable at the functional level until too late. With the proliferation of API services in micros services and available API test tools in cloud services, there is no excuse for not testing each micro service independently from each other. The company will greatly appreciate when you find bugs that otherwise will be undetected. You can also apply performance testing within your infrastructure testing for sound implementations.
