I think going viral was detrimental for me. I got over 63m views on my reel in 1 month and gained 50k followers within that month, I was posting other content during as i thought i might have some momentum however, my engagement was the exact same at 10k, 20k, 30k ect followers as it was when i was on 1k followers. Im now on 50k followers and the viral video has no died out so i went to post again and my engagement is literally the exact same prior going viral. So essentially my engagement percentage is not even 1% now….
