I bought a home that was built in the 70’s so naturally there was a lot of brown .. I painted most of the walls.. but kept the natural brown trim and kept the tan brown sunporch the same.. I love the brown spectrum because it’s calming

  2. Gerri Dagostino on October 25, 2022 at 7:48 am

I did accessible beige from my roof to even my baseboard and I love it! My floor is gorgeous it has beige gray talk to black and I’m at the point of buying furniture and I’m just over the moon with the color I can’t say everybody just raves about my house right now and it’s not even furnished! Love your show sincerely Gerri D’Agostino

  3. NancyCastTarot on October 25, 2022 at 7:49 am

Need to paint the interior of the house, so over the gray. I am looking at creamy beige tones. We have honey oak wood floors and kitchen cabinets. I am excited about the browns.

  4. Sarah B on October 25, 2022 at 7:50 am

    Thank you Valentina! 🤗
This is great news.. I had started unconsciously incorporating beige and brown back into my house and now realize it was a natural reaction to being chilled to death with all of the cool tones the past near-decade.

I started with “greige” and transitioned from there! 🤗
Ps: I’m a bit late to this! 😂

I have a living room that has a cast stone fireplace, our piano, and I’m going to do traditional wall mouldings on the walls. I’ve been toiling over the color for months, and recently got some brown samples that I put up on the walls. I’m loving the browns! I was hesitating, wondering if I’m crazy and it would be a bad idea to paint it brown, but this has given me the confidence to go for it

  6. Tracey Sumner on October 25, 2022 at 7:52 am

    I don t care what’s in or out. I pick what Color’s I like.

Evergreen fog from Sherwin-Williams it’s just beautiful! I think it will carry out for 2023 so many people are doing it now. It’s soothing warm and cozy. And it’s not too bold!

  9. GTTTO on October 25, 2022 at 7:55 am

Don’t like brown. Reminds me of the 70s & 80s. I still love black, white & greys with pops of bright color.

    Finally..I hate grey.

  12. lauren glass on October 25, 2022 at 7:57 am

    Brown tones are sophisticated

  13. RC Lynn on October 25, 2022 at 8:00 am

Love that these browns & beiges are coming back!!
We are doing a total Reno so I’m so excited to finally be up to date!! I thought since I wasn’t doing black that once again I was not on trend!! Don’t get me wrong I make it work but you know what I mean!! 🤣
Our house will be a craftsman farmhouse.

So I was planning to do Carrara marble look whether it be Carrara or quartz that looks like it, Since we aren’t the tidiest ppl!!
I also wanted a wood island but I still want my antique white cabinets with a brown outline!! So exciting about them!! What hardware?? Oil rubbed bronze?? Gold?
You’re probably gonna pass out but I’m keeping my beloved dinning table which is Duncan Phyfe!!
But I don’t know how to pull it together with the kitchen as they are all in the same large room!! Which I still love the openness of it!!
I have lots of antiques that I’ve had for years and I’m keeping them!! They have such character imho!!! 😁
I’m thinking of doing the island in a darker wood with Corbels & an antique twist to pull together with dining room.
Was thinking about white in the master bathroom but now totally lost on this one?? Any suggestions??
I still want that clean look. 🤷🏻‍♀️
    Love your video’s!!!
    Thank you for any help!!
    Rhonda 🤎

Oh, no!!! The house I bought had so much brown inside and out and I just changed all to grays and whites and painted the exterior white, warm gray, and graffiti details. I love it in cabinets and details, but not all bcse I feel it is heavy and used to look so dark. So, designs, go and come.. and go again, and then come back later. UFF!!! I guess that is what feeds designers!

  15. Christine Mason on October 25, 2022 at 8:02 am

My friends all jumped on the white cabinet train but I stuck with my brown cabinets, so happy that I did.

  16. shamaraboonemua on October 25, 2022 at 8:02 am

I’m loving the colors shiitake and loggia by SW in my bedroom did about 1 year 1/2 . So soothing

  17. Jeannie Smith on October 25, 2022 at 8:03 am

I am doing black and brown

  18. Queti Mporta on October 25, 2022 at 8:03 am

i logged in to get ideas on changing my brown and beige shades i’ve had for a year 😅😅

  19. Kathy Dove on October 25, 2022 at 8:06 am

I am so happy for this trend. I personally am not a big fan of gray or any of the cooler tone colors. I am very much an earth tone type with lots of plants throughout my house so this is fabulous news! I also really hate painted furniture and prefer the natural woodgrain

  20. EugenePatti Valitzski on October 25, 2022 at 8:06 am

I would fem it up with blush pink

  21. Cheryl Wilson on October 25, 2022 at 8:08 am

How do you do floor colors(brown)in a smaller townhouse space. I thought lighter would be better??

  22. Gloria Saliba on October 25, 2022 at 8:11 am

I have always loved brown from the very first pair of expensive Italian dark tan boots I purchased as a teenager to the rust colour brown Velvet sofa I have have. Burnt Orange is another colour I’ve always adored it just makes me smile

  23. Christina Ridge on October 25, 2022 at 8:17 am

How would you incorporate blank canvas with sophisticated teal if you have a master bedroom connected to a large sitting area?

  24. Moira Marriott on October 25, 2022 at 8:18 am

Black, tan and gold . . So nod to brown.. Brown in its true form reminds me of 80’s and magnolia paint in UK …pinkish cream yuk .

  25. Mrs DewDrop on October 25, 2022 at 8:19 am

History repeats itself. I remember back in the mid 60-70s my Mom and Aunts all painted their rooms Navajo White. I hated it. It looked like the walls were dirty. I dont mind taupe-grey and expresso. But those rusty and beigey colors not so much. The dark baskets and maybe rich dark pillow covers.🤔 edit….I do love rich browns in furniture. 👍I say, to each his own -whatever makes YOU happy in your home is always a winner!

  26. Claire K on October 25, 2022 at 8:19 am

Can’t wait to add more brown to our home! Such a fab video! @kins.home

  27. Nancy and Joel on October 25, 2022 at 8:20 am

What is the wood of your wood floors?

  28. Krystin Rivas on October 25, 2022 at 8:21 am

I have a lot of gray but if I didn’t add the brown, beiges and creams to it, I wouldn’t be happy. It warms everything up.

  29. colleencc on October 25, 2022 at 8:21 am

Not feeling the warm browns, prefer cooler ones. But still not ready to do it, because I have larger things like a grey flannel bed (upholstered) and have no ideas on how to put the greys I have that aren’t going anywhere with brown?? I love the bed, not ready to toss it just based on a trend.

  30. Lola Shannon on October 25, 2022 at 8:23 am

How can we incorporate black into the brown/beige?

  31. Babysisdolls333 on October 25, 2022 at 8:23 am

    please no more grays…..so depressing
    Brown is earthly…natural, hugging.

  32. florin potolinca on October 25, 2022 at 8:24 am

What color is the wall above the fireplace ? Black ? Doesn’t look black.

  33. Johana Bezuidenhout on October 25, 2022 at 8:26 am

Definitely not my taste I much prefer this years colour green. Brown us morbid and to hot where we from. Good luck to those that changes to brown!

  34. Monica Alves on October 25, 2022 at 8:28 am

What white do you have on your trim and wall?

  35. Elizabeth R. Facundo on October 25, 2022 at 8:30 am

So happy that i did my kitchen reno last year in two toned. The small wall of cabinets in white with the entire island in a rich brown! I finally just got matching dark counter stools for it. Thank you!

  36. Alex Andra on October 25, 2022 at 8:30 am

    I love brown 🤎

  37. No Niche Hobbyist on October 25, 2022 at 8:32 am

What is the color of your accent wall in the back that’s like the exact color I want in my new home. How do you choose your accent wall?

  38. Tim Treadway on October 25, 2022 at 8:34 am

Sherwin-Williams 7036 Accessible Beige it’s a very beautiful color! Would highly recommend this color! It looks beautiful on walls.

  39. Earth Angel on October 25, 2022 at 8:37 am

Brown vases, glassware, stoneware dishes and hand towels are also good ways to bring brown into your home in small ways for Fall

  40. Andrea on October 25, 2022 at 8:37 am

I love beiges and browns and am thrilled they’re coming back. They’re so earthy. I love them with black and wrought iron and rattan of all shades. There has been too much gray and lack of color in decor.

  41. MC on October 25, 2022 at 8:37 am

Defining color of this generation literally made me feel like I’m falling throw the floor. Lol. Nothing worse than old heavy brown furniture everywhere, dark brown everywhere. Hope that doesn’t come back LOL

  42. Cynthia Marie on October 25, 2022 at 8:38 am

Oh gosh, I’ve always had beige everywhere and decided to go with cool gray now since I live in a super hot and humid climate here in Charleston, SC and now I’m thinking I was late to jump on the gray train because I’m just now doing everything cool gray, silver and cool white with white gray marble tile, etc. It’s going to take me a good five years to want to go back to browns and tans.

  43. lauren glass on October 25, 2022 at 8:40 am

The range you showed is so limiting, you are showing a pinky brown. Go back and look at historical browns and there are yellows added to it and scalamandre and other companies have had that in their pallette

  44. Le Petite Morte on October 25, 2022 at 8:40 am

Love the statement of, “decorating your home helps you discover yourself.” Couldn’t agree more! But…seriously cherry brown wood is out, right? 😂

  45. Dani B on October 25, 2022 at 8:40 am

Ah! My condo is finally au goût du jour. It’s only 6 years old, but it has lots of brown (cabinetry and floors), and I’ve been fighting it as much as I could with grey/blue accents. It did grow on me though, and now I’m pleased that the interior designer had such vision!

  46. Marsha Coats on October 25, 2022 at 8:41 am

Built our house 20!years ago and I didn’t use any trendy materials or too trendy kitchen ideas. It is mostly creamy and white with some blond stair rail. I had a Tuscan stove hood for awhile but got up one morning and painted it gray now it looks
. more French. Just look for timeless beauty. It seems to have withstood the test of time.

  47. Joannie Matter on October 25, 2022 at 8:41 am

I recently added “brown” to my once Alabaster walls to add some definition and warmth. I LOVE it!

  48. Kathleen Mathews on October 25, 2022 at 8:43 am

Love shades of tans, creams, beiges, lighter browns and have had those colors in my home for years. Add a bit of green and some black and I’m happy. Thought about going gray at one point but realized it was not a color I wanted to live with Al thought I prefer grays, blues, blacks in my clothes.

  49. Francia Stone on October 25, 2022 at 8:44 am

    It’s so depressing.

  50. Empresslee876 on October 25, 2022 at 8:45 am

I’ve had a dark brown sofa for a while now but wanted to wrap it in grey because I feel like my house looks outdated. Seeing this is good but would love to know how to decorate the space around it to make it look modern. It’s very small though so need light
