Oh wow! Thank you so much for these tips!
Very beautiful lady! 😍 Oeehh.. I really like you. Thanks for your videos dear. 😉
I have shared this. I’m trying to look for quality, classic pieces in natural fabrics as much as possible for my Posh closet. Thank you!! @LibbyPicks
Love this information..a real eye opener. Lately I’ve been paying more attention to what the clothing I buy is made of. It’s become an important thing for me while shopping. However, I feel that not a lot of places I’ve been looking at have the high quality clothing traits you mentioned in this video. Are there any clothing brands you can recommend that consistently sell high quality pieces?
I found the good zipper on my recent purchase at Macys which it is a high quality Guess dress. Priced originally at $117
When I got home I found a small stitch issue near the back neck line. Should I bring that to the cleaners people to fix? Or bring it back?
I love your videos! You have given me a way to save time and money on clothing by following the natural fibers guideline. I don’t even bother to try it on if it isn’t made of mostly natural fibers. This makes shopping so much quicker and more effective! And saves money down the line when the cheaper fabrics don’t hold up! Thanks for sharing your insights!
Your skin is glowing in that blue 😍😍😍
Great video !
Do you know Sezane ? I think they are excellent concerning quality 😍
Thank you for the tips!
I keep the three Fs in mind: Fit, Fabric and Finishing.
Great video Rachel, made well with examples also ☺ Your new hair suits you a lot better than before. Greetings from Florence
You should collab with The Modern Lady (Devoreux) channel…I love what both of you stand for 💕💕
You said that if the clothes take on the shape of the wearer, its low quality. Does this apply to knit fabrics? They are naturally stretchy
Great video, Rachel. I have a big pet peeve about plaid pants, when the pattern doesn’t match up at the side seams of the legs. I see a lot of that these days.
I’ve started saving so much money on clothes since I started following your videos! No longer do I shop for what looks good, now I shop for quality and purpose. Thanks Rachel!
I shop second hand for 90% of my wardrobe. I have a wishlist to keep my eye out for. Two days ago I found a vintage Ralph Lauren rugby wool knit cardigan with the crest on it in a beautiful navy, black, dark green plaid with red a yellow vertical stripes and thick wood buttons, as well as an irish merino wool hand knit cream colored turtleneck, and a Ralph Lauren wool, silk, and lambskin blazer and only paid $5 each at goodwill. I love when friends and family assume I spend so much on my items!
I haven’t even watched the video yet I just wanted to say how much I love it when you post😩 you’re my fav notification girl!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, very useful and so honest!!
FashionMumblr has done the same video, clearly she’s stealing ideas from you.

I agree that you have to be careful with the more popular labels now. A few of my once favorite brands have now gone down hill in favor of Cheaper garments for the same price tag because they’ve become popular.
Wow this colour looks stunning on you!
Thanks for a great video! /Marie from Sweden
Great information! I have come to look for natural fiber, high quality pieces instead of tons of inexpensive items. TFS 🙂
i hope that in all your future videos, that you cite what you’re wearing (top, bottom, shoes, lipstick, etc). that info would be highly appreciated
I learned all this the hard (and costly) way! I wish I had seen this video a year ago! I completely avoid polyester now.
I’ve watched quite a few videos on style and quality, but have taken away a few tips from yours today. As fast fashion is becoming the norm, it is great to learn these tips to find quality among the sea of cheaper (and less ethical) products. Keep in classy. And ethical. 🌷❤️
my fvt youtuber❤❤
Thanks very helpful video
Thank you for such great information!
I just subscribed to your channel. I would love to know your thoughts on pear shape body type styles. Clothes & shoes both. You are good by the way😊
These are great tips! I love how you breakdown the details 🌟
Best color on you
Love how you use visual examples in this video! Much better :)! Thank you!
Excellent video Rachel, as always! I loved all of these tips, especially the one about the hidden zipper. I would love to see you do a video about buying quality pre-loved shoes. I love leather loafers, but I’ve found that just because a loafer is made of genuine leather, it’s not a given that it’s good quality, and unfortunately I usually don’t find this out until after Ive already purchased the shoes and try to wear them. So, if you have any good tips for buying high quality pre-loved shoes, I’d love to hear those. Many thanks! 😁🌸
First
This makeup looks so much classier. it suits your topics compared to previous videos makeup.
I love how specific and to the point you are. I really appreciate your channel, learned so much.
You made great points, we clearly see price as an indicator of quality, but I’ve seen so many premium/luxury brands that sell a dress for £300 and when I check the fabric composition it’s made off 100% polyester!! Meaning they’re just selling their brand… and it’s a shame cause I do like those brands, but I always try to be careful when I buy something from them
Great tips especially the last one. I just assumed a higher priced item is better but now I know I could be wrong. Thanks for sharing.
Liked the video, also noting the natural fibres info. I prefer cotton, linen and silk on my skin but these have to be blended with an amount of synthetic fibres for structure and wearability. Also there’s a lot in the news about sustainability and production and damage regarding growing cotton, no doubt it also applies to linen and silkworms. It’s all about balance and less buying. Synthetics are widely used by top designers, because of their versitity and production and cost. But we all have to think about the dyes and bleaches etc that are used too. It’s no longer an easy enjoyable activity to go buy a new garment if we are to believe the toll it takes on the environment and where these things are manufactured.
This is some useful tips.Thank u!
Would you have a recommendation for a quality pair of white shorts with a 4in inseam thereabouts? I’m in Florida and it’s already summer here.
Great video, Rachel! I love’d how you showed us some examples too. Very informative. And love your personality!
Spot on!!
