Videos show cheerleaders repeatedly forced into splits
Denver Police are investigating incidents involving multiple cheerleaders and the cheer coach at East High School in which eight cheerleaders are shown repeatedly being pushed down into the forced splits as they cry out in pain. The cheer coach, assistant cheer coach, high school principal, assistant principal and Denver Public Schools deputy general counsel have all been placed on leave.

This is completely inhumane, but then again- I swear these people have minds like animals! Let’s spin this scenario around! Let’s tie a rope around the cheer coach and those forcing her down and force them to withstand a MINIMUM of a 4 minute mile. Tie a rope around their waist attached to a car bumper and set cruise control at 15 mph. They MUST keep the pace or… get dragged! Isn’t that the SAME EXACT THING! Animals!

I am a cheerleader myself and my coach wants everyone to be able to do the splits and she is like really strict but whenever she tells us to get into the splits she comes around checking to see who can’t do the splits and she just pushes us from the back only a little i have never seen anyone do this to a child. And the fact that the teamates were also helping out:((((
