10 Wearable Fashion Trends That Will Be HUGE in 2023!
I’m so excited about the new fashion trends heading our way for 2023. I know it’s super early to be talking about next year’s fashion trends but the whole idea of today’s video is to give you a little head start on what to expect. I often get asked if a particular item will still be on trend next year and if it’s worth the investment now so to make sure you hold on to those fab pieces you own or to help you plan your upcoming purchases I wanted to cover off 10 of the top fashion trends for 2023. I’d love to hear what you think of these trends and whether you can see yourself wearing any of them. I’m picking that you may even own some of the pieces which will definitely make it easier to create cool on trend outfits to step out in style in 2023. Also I wanted to give a shout out to the team at Javy Coffee for sponsoring today’s episode and introducing me to the most delicious coffee that not only is quick and easy to make (you don’t need a fancy coffee machine taking up space on your bench) and it means I can enjoy real coffee at home without spending a fortune on take out coffees that don’t taste as good – so thanks guys!

Anyway, thank you to you too for watching and I really hope you got some value out of today’s episode. Look forward to seeing you in the next one.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. Does no one have an original idea? These are all repeats of the past. Where are the idea people? None of this is special.

I’m 5’3” and 63 years old with short legs and a long torso. Cargo pants were popular in the 70s when I was in high school. They will NEVER be a staple/foundation piece in my wardrobe. Nope. Nope. Nope.

    NOT!

  12. Dale on November 23, 2022 at 4:17 pm

I can remember when red, pink and orange shouldn’t be worn together. Same with blue and green, and with black and brown. Well, look at nature. Doh. Wear what you like and don’t worry about what’s in style..

I have worked and followed fashion for over forty years….been waiting for the next Chanel. Rehashing twentieth century fads and trends is getting so boring. Eff the trends…wear what looks good on you; what you like and suits your lifestyle.

  16. Pretty Flamingo on November 23, 2022 at 4:19 pm

Wow ,where have you been lol . I’ve been wearing pink & red since the early 90s, thanks to a beautiful knitted skirt and top by John MacArthur, from Pearl Harbour in Bondi.

  25. Chicquette on November 23, 2022 at 4:32 pm

This video is priceless! It has inspired me to get out of the boring rut of wearing the same clothes combinations and try something new for a change. Color is something I always admire in others but find it hard to purchase and wear often. Seeing these many colors for next year, no more excuses from me. Thank you for sharing with us!

  26. Featherstone Jewelry & Healing on November 23, 2022 at 4:32 pm

I bought a red dress for mom’s funeral last year. We’re native American and it’s a color from the medicine wheel. Now it’s trendy! I can wear it again.

  27. verycherry on November 23, 2022 at 4:33 pm

I’m glad to see the oversized what we used to call androgynous look giving way to more variety in silhouettes next year. I look like I’ve gained 30+ lbs if I try to wear oversized clothes and I certainly don’t need the bulk. I don’t have a thin frame. It’s medium/ large. Looking short and squat and big in oversized clothes may in part be because I’m short in stature (5’2") and need all the height advantage I can get, lol. Sometimes though I wear oversized and just look lost in it like I’m wearing a giant man’s clothes and I look like a tiny little girl drowning in it. It’s hard enough to find things to fit and with the current styles last year and this year, it’s near impossible. Plus at almost 48 I don’t want a bunch of skin showing either. It still looks like it may be difficult next year but perhaps not as bad. Thanks for showing us ahead of time what we can expect! It makes it easier knowing what to do now.

Omygoodness the accent is music to my ears!!! I’ve been living in the USA for the past 6 years but was born in Auckland, raised in Kerikeri and NEVER hear kiwis here! Thanks for taking the plunge and starting a channel on what you love!

  29. Laur on November 23, 2022 at 4:35 pm

Not looking forward to next year again. Millennials need to be prevented rom deciding fashion trends. 🤮

    Nice

  31. G H on November 23, 2022 at 4:36 pm

Brown is a not very attractive color. In fact brown is jot a color that makes me look stylish

  32. Sarah S on November 23, 2022 at 4:36 pm

Thank you. You are such a beautiful lady and I sincerely appreciate your expertise. I’m a regular gal living on West Coast USA, who is trying to update my look. I’ve been wearing black too long, and I sense we are moving into a whole new era of color and spontaneity.

  33. Virginia Sanford on November 23, 2022 at 4:37 pm

  34. Melissa Gerber on November 23, 2022 at 4:38 pm

Aah,black. Now we’re taking. My dopamine colors would be berry and cobalt.
    I’m winter all the way.

  36. Heidi Schaer on November 23, 2022 at 4:40 pm

    Lower/not high rise pants + 5’10 = low rise 😂 … low rise pants + 5’10 = butt crack

  37. Sally Rama on November 23, 2022 at 4:40 pm

Yes blazers are always on style

  38. Wear It Milano on November 23, 2022 at 4:41 pm

I feel like rather than looking fashionable people should find their own signature styles that don’t have to be changed each 1-2 years. However, this guide is definitely brilliant for those who want to elevate their styles by mixing them up with some trending items! Loved when you said ‘classic doesn’t have to be boring’. SO TRUE…Thank you for sharing these ideas 💕

  39. Dalia Nabil on November 23, 2022 at 4:41 pm

Velvet kimonos are still in ?

  40. Bella Luna on November 23, 2022 at 4:45 pm

Aside from blazers, the clothing trend today is horrible. It’s like designers want women too look their worst.

  41. BurstAngel on November 23, 2022 at 4:46 pm

no to strapless, I need too much engineering to make it work much less make it comfortable.

  42. Beverly McGill on November 23, 2022 at 4:53 pm

  46. Anna Wolden on November 23, 2022 at 4:57 pm

    Brown is Turd, not attractive.

  47. mina Mitchell on November 23, 2022 at 4:59 pm

I’m sorry but all these clothes look like rags? 2000s, the worst decade in fashion, absolutely no class zero! Nada!

  48. Jesse Moran on November 23, 2022 at 4:59 pm

I just wanted to say thank you for using an image that has a model with only one breast (min 13). It’s great to see some representation for our one breasted and flat sisters. Please, consider doing an episode on fem presenting women who have had double mastectomies and no reconstruction. We could all use some help on how to dress feminine without breasts 🙂 Thanks!

Thanks Leonie for such precious tips, it’s easier for me to make dresses to add to my store.
